Weekly Round Up! 9/18

So after working on this outlet for about a month I am slowly going to make some changes that I think will improve my processes. Starting this post I will be including my picks of the previous weeks comics with the pull list for comics coming this week. My streaming schedule is also going to change a bit with Amy starting a new position. But I have no plans on giving up or ending my creative outlet. so without further adieu my picks from last week! Keep in mind they picks from last week may contain spoilers!

OK allow me to rant a little before I reveal my favorites. Marvel cannot seem to end an event on time. I love them as a company but we are on the tail end of Civil War 2 and they have said changes will happen with the aftermath. But we are currently in this limbo in a lot of there books kind of just waiting till the event ends to start new story lines while moving forward with changes that haven't been revealed.

Deadpool #20Deadpool #20

That being said the first title this week is Deadpool #20 by Gerry Duggan and Matteo Lolli. In this issue we find everything Deadpool as enjoyed this past year has gone. He is no longer on a team, his Mercs for Money are no more, and his building was destroyed by Ultron. This has put him in a very sad position. The issue is about him trying to convince a girl not to commit suicide. He shows her how he has still been helping people in his own way. In the end we discover that he is "rounding a corner" and getting back to being himself once again. I know it sounds sappy but I do love a character story showing how they cope with sadness and find ways to move on from it.

The other issue for this weeks pick was a new one I was not sure I was going to like but have recommended it to all my friends. Mosaic #1 by Geoffrey Thorne and Khary Randolph was more then I expected it to be. The story didn't really start for me till Morris underwent his transformation. He has the ability to jump from one person to another and take control of them but in the process takes a piece of each person with him. There was a constant battle for him to remember that he was a different person then his host. Much of the story was him learning how his new life operates and how to separate himself from the person he inhabits.

Pull List for week 9/19!

All-New X-Men #14
Civil War 2: Kindpin #4
